How do the Library filters work?

You can filter the Library using any combination of Therapy Type, Presenting Problems, Transdiagnostic Mechanisms, Interventions, and Resource Types. You can use multiple filters at the same time, from the same or different categories. That said, the number of results you’ll see will be affected by the number of filters you select from within a given category.

If you only choose one filter from different categories (e.g. Therapy Type: ACT; Presenting Problem: Anxiety; Transdiagnostic Mechanism: Behavioral Avoidance) you will see the number of results shrink as you add more filters, because any results that don’t match your selection will be removed.

But as soon as you start adding filters from the same category (e.g. you select CBT as a second Therapy Type), the number of results will increase because you will see resources that match either Therapy Type (ACT or CBT) as well as the Presenting Problem (Anxiety) and the Transdiagnostic Mechanism (Behavioral Avoidance).

We encourage you to spend some time exploring the Library filters to fully experiment with how they work.
