What is the difference between Protocols and Custom Workbooks?

The main difference is that protocols are curated collections of resources sourced from a given book, which are not customizable. You can’t add your chosen resources to them or reorder the list; you can only deselect resources you don’t wish to include in the protocol when you send it to a client.

Custom workbooks, on the other hand, are your creation: You can choose any number of resources from as many books as you wish, and you can choose the order in which the resources will be assigned to your clients.
